With 2013 Toronto winners, Austria’s Anna St?hr and Kilian Fischhuber, missing the finals by a few spots, this year’s finals promised to be suspenseful, and it did not disappoint. On the men’s side, Guillaume Glairon Mondet of France topped the podium with three tops, and Germany’s Jan Hojer was right behind him with only one more attempt for his three tops. Rounding out the podium was Canada’s Sean McColl with two tops, securing bronze in front of his home crowd. New to the finals this week was Korea’s Jongwon Chon, who finished in 5th in a great showing.

The Russian won also last year in Munich and topped out all four final boulders. Only one try more for reaching the four bonus holds was responsible for McColls lost - he was not able to climb only one boulder in the whole competition. Kilian Fischhuber didn?t reach the semifinal so Rustam Gelmanov won the Overall Boulder World Cup 2012 ahead of the two austrian climbers Fischhuber and Schubert.

The Austrian iron couple, Anna St?hr and Kilian Fischhuber, got a awesome victory in front of their crowd in Innsbruck. In an enthusiastic sold out Marketplatz, the podium was completed by Shauna Coxsey (GBR) and Melissa Le Neve (FRA), and, in the men, by Rustam Gelmanov (RUS) and Sean McColl (CAN).
As a result of this success, Anna Stohr takes the lead (2 points on Noguchi) in the World Cup Ranking, while Rustam Gelmanov is solidly at the top of the men's, 100 points ahead of Fischhuber.
