A huge shake up in the men's division with Daniel Woods not making it to Finals and a slew of new faces competing for first. Underdog Alex "Socks" Johnson jumped ahead of the pack with a flash of the second problem, and after the favorite Sean McColl slipped off the finishing sloper it looked like it was anyone's game. Johnson made a great run on the third and final problem, short cutting an obvious sequence and almost snagging the finishing hold with a HUGE dyno. This put the pressure on McColl who needed to flash the unsent third problem to win, but Sean came through in championship form and brought the crowd to their feet with and unbelievable first-try send.

Francesca Metcalf came out of Isolation looking strong with the first send of Finals #1 but Alex Puccio absolutely WALKED the problem for the only other ascent. Problem #2 was a technical nightmare that had all of the ladies struggling to stay in balance but Sasha Digulian fought her way back into the top three with the sole send of the punishing slab. But the third problem was ALL Puccio. Powerful throws up the steepest part of the wall stopped most of the pack cold. Alex Johnson gave an inspired effort, making it to the last move, but Puccio absolutely DOMINATED the problem, flashing it in her signature powerful style.
