I went up to RMNP the other day with my bro-ettes Alex Puccio, Meagan Martin and Angie Payne, and when we got to the Centaur boulder it was ladies night on DG's rig Nothin but Sunshine V13. Alex and Shauna traded burns and before long Shauna dialed the jump thanks to some new beta from Pooch and started from the bottom! First Female Ascent and one of the only women to climb the grade!

A ascent of the Finger of Fate on the Titan
Will Stanhope has free climbed the Finger of Fate route on the Titan, the 900-foot colossus of the Fisher Towers in Utah. This may be the second free ascent of the eight-pitch, soft-rock tower, though Stanhope said he’d heard there had been another free ascent since Britons Ben Bransby and Pete Robins nabbed the first free climb in 2005.

Daniel Woods and Charlotte Durif won the 2013 SCS National Championships held at Movement Climbing + Fitness in Boulder, Colorado, on April 5 and 6. Because Durif is French, the honor of National Champion goes to second-place finisher Delaney Miller. In third for women was Chelsea Rude. Woods became the first person to win both an ABS and SCS national title in the same year. Carlo Traversi finished second for men, followed by Noah Ridge.

Adam Ondra onsights The Golden Ticket (5.14c), Red River Gorge, Kentucky

Black Diamond athlete Adam Ondra traveled to Kentucky's Red River Gorge in late October and 10 days later he had blazed through the area's hardest routes, including onsighting two of the Red's hardest, Pure Imagination and The Golden Ticket, in the same day. Both routes were originally rated 5.14d, but Ondra, after onsighting them within an hour of each other, suggested they be downrated to 5.14c.
